Certain Stonewood courses may begin with an initial assessment designed to provide a starting measure of practice-examination performance.
For example, a course may include a 30-question initial assessment before the student begins the main learning activities.
We may record the first completed attempt as the baseline used for progress comparisons.
4.2 Subsequent Practice and Mock Examinations
Students may complete additional assessments, including multiple mock examinations consisting of randomized questions selected from larger question banks.
We may retain relevant attempt records to provide feedback, track practice performance, and generate progress reports.
4.3 Comparing Assessment Results
We may compare assessment results using measures such as:

  • Raw scores

  • Percentage of correct answers

  • Changes measured in percentage points

  • Topic-level performance

  • First-attempt results

  • Completion and participation rates

We may separately display repeat-attempt results or best scores for the student's personal learning experience.
4.4 Limitations of Performance Comparisons
Assessments may differ in question count, difficulty, topic coverage, question selection, and previous exposure to questions.
Accordingly, an increase in practice-examination scores does not necessarily establish that a particular course caused the improvement or that the student will pass an official examination.
We seek to present learning-progress information accurately and distinguish practice performance from official qualification or certification outcomes.
5. Educational Analytics and Aggregated Statistics
5.1 Internal Analytics
We may conduct internal analysis of student assessment information to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of our educational platform.
This may include statistical analysis of assessment scores, commonly missed questions, completion patterns, and changes in practice performance.

Stonewood BCIN Academy may use assessment and learning progress data to prepare educational statistics, evaluate course effectiveness, and demonstrate student learning outcomes.
Where permitted by applicable law, we may publish:

  • Individual learning progression records, including assessment scores and score changes, displayed under non-identifying student codes such as “Student 028,” where appropriate safeguards and any required publication consent are in place.

Individual Learning Records: Where an individual learning record may remain identifiable despite removing direct identifiers, we will obtain the student's separate, voluntary consent before publishing it for educational or promotional purposes.
Students may decline publication without affecting their course enrollment, access, or learning experience.
Students may request withdrawal of publication consent. We will remove the applicable records from websites and other channels under our control within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal limitations. Previously downloaded or independently shared copies may remain outside our control.
Published practice assessment results do not represent official BCIN examination outcomes and do not guarantee examination success.
5.3 Privacy Protection in Public Statistics
We will not publicly display identifiable individual learning records, names, email addresses, or private account information as part of aggregate statistical reporting without appropriate authorization.
We will take reasonable steps to address re-identification risks, including suppressing or combining small reporting groups where necessary.
Replacing a student's name with a code or identifier does not automatically make the information anonymous.
5.4 Transparency and Accuracy
Where performance statistics are published, we aim to identify relevant sample sizes, reporting periods, participation rates, and assessment limitations.
Public reports may be updated as additional valid data becomes available or as errors are identified.
Aggregated platform performance results are not representations of official BCIN examination pass rates unless separately and appropriately substantiated.

6.1 AI-Powered Educational Features
Stonewood may introduce or operate AI-assisted learning features, including:

  • AI BCIN tutoring assistants

  • Personalized study recommendations

The availability and functionality of these tools may change over time.

AI-generated content is educational in nature and does not constitute professional engineering, architectural, legal, or official examination advice.

Where AI processing is based on optional consent, users may withdraw that consent for future processing, subject to applicable legal and practical limitations.
Information lawfully processed before withdrawal may not always be technically reversible, including where model development has already occurred. Any such limitations must be appropriately disclosed when consent is requested.

We distinguish between information uses necessary to provide the educational service and optional uses requiring a separate choice.
7.1 Core Educational Services
Certain information is necessary to maintain an account, deliver assessments, calculate scores, provide learning materials, manage purchases, and protect the platform.

11.1 TrainerCentral Course Platform
Some Stonewood BCIN Academy courses and learning services are offered through TrainerCentral at https://bcin-stonewoodpartners.trainercentralsite.com/. When you use this platform, information such as account and registration details, course enrollment, participation, assessment submissions, results, completion status, and technical usage information may be collected or processed depending on the features in use.
We may access and use records made available to us through TrainerCentral to deliver purchased education, provide support, evaluate student progress, review question and course quality, and prepare lawful educational reports. Where appropriate, these records may be combined with Stonewood account, purchase, or learning records from other authorized systems.
TrainerCentral and its service providers may process information to operate and secure their platform. Their practices, including processing locations and retention arrangements, may differ from Stonewood’s; consult the privacy information made available by TrainerCentral for details. Stonewood will apply its own Privacy Policy to information under its control and will assess any required additional notices or consents.
Use of TrainerCentral does not, by itself, authorize public disclosure of identifiable student-level learning records. Any publication of individual progress cards remains subject to Sections 5.2 and 5.3 and the applicable consent and privacy safeguards.
11.2 Mautic Email and Marketing Platform
We use a Mautic-based email marketing and automation service operated through https://connect.stonewoodpartners.ca/ to manage permitted communications, email subscriptions, campaign delivery, contact preferences, and related engagement reporting. This address is a marketing-service domain, not a separate public course platform.
Depending on which features are activated, Mautic may process names, email addresses, subscription and consent records, communication preferences, email delivery status, campaign clicks or opens, form submissions, and website-interaction information. We may use this information to administer requested communications, measure campaign performance, and send lawful educational or promotional messages. Any segmentation using learning activity or course information must have a lawful basis consistent with the notices and choices presented to students.
Students may unsubscribe from promotional email through the mechanism provided in applicable messages or contact us directly. We will respect withdrawal and suppression preferences for future promotional communications, subject to applicable law. Transactional or necessary course-service messages may continue. We will assess whether marketing cookies, tracking pixels, cross-platform syncing, or other non-essential tracking require additional notice or consent before enabling them.
We seek to limit disclosures to the information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and apply appropriate contractual or other safeguards.
We may also disclose personal information where required or permitted by law, including for legal proceedings, lawful government requests, fraud investigations, or protection of our rights and users.

Stonewood is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites that we do not control.
